For 25+ years we have provided research, product, and content expertise on a wide range of food- and diet-related topics. Dr. Newby also serves on several science advisory boards. One current example: providing health and sustainability menu notes for Phoenix-based meal delivery company The Vegan Taste. P.K. Newby, ScD, MPH, MS, brings together all of her passions—food and health, science and art—in her second company, Food Matters Media. Author and science communicator Dr. Newby is also a recovering academic and previously served on the faculties at Tufts, Boston University, and Harvard. She holds a doctorate of science in nutritional epidemiology from Harvard and two master’s degrees from Columbia in public health nutrition, Her goal is to bring evidence to today’s critical food conversations, from farm to fork—and fight anti-science in all the ways she can. Dr. Newby's interest in nutrition stems from a life-long love affair with food, and she cooked plant-based, globally-inspired cuisine rooted n her Healthy Hedonism™ philosophy on ABC's The Taste.
